Expected results

By implementing this project we want to:

  • arise interest for new educational practices beyond formal education

  • foster desire for knowledge and professional development

  • improve dissemination of best practices in each country

  • promote the cooperation between schools and local authorities

  • develop teachers and students’ soft skills

  • empower young people to effectively transform their skills and preferences into a visible change in their active attitude towards eco-friendly behaviour

  • in the current situation of an economic crisis, arise awareness towards environmental challenges as a way to make a profit

  • use the English language as a tool of learning and communication and enhance self-confidence in using it

  • promote digital competence: pupils and teachers will improve their skills in the critical use of online tools and the use of synchronous tools to work at a distance

  • take an international and interdisciplinary approach towards the topic focusing on the following subject areas: technology, economics, science, ecology, fair trade and sustainability which reflect the various departments of the schools

  • improve teachers attitude to work effectively in team

  • increment the number of Project Based Learning lessons at the involved schools

 

As a result we expect to monitor:

 

  • Change in the lessons management

  • Development of soft skills among students and teachers

  • Knowledge about the impact of circular economy on resources savings and waste reduction

  • Awareness about innovative funding possibilities

  • Improvement in foreign language skills

  • Achievement of higher digital skills among both students and teachers

 

All the objectives and expected results are aligned with our priorities since they pursue the

acquisition of skills and competences for all participants. Furthermore, teachers are offered an opportunity to strengthen their professional profile by exchanging experiences with colleagues from other countries, learning ICT tools and other techniques to attract their students, collaborating in multiple topics with students, teachers and families and becoming more competent to continue working on different projects with their students.
